Ford против Ferrari в Dolby Atmos

Sorry, this entry is only available in Russian and Ukrainian.

Lectrosonics HMa Plug-On BOOM 1

The HMa from Lectrosonics is a UHF plug-on transmitter that accepts mic or line-level signals via a standard XLR connector. It has selectable 5, 15, & 48V phantom power and can be used when paired with a Lectrosonics receiver and handheld microphone.

The input amplifier of the HMa transmitter uses an ultra-low noise op-amp for quiet operation and is gain controlled with a wide range dual envelope limiter. A 24-bit A to D converter digitizes the audio, and filters the supersonic noise above 21 kHz. The resulting signal is encoded with a proprietary algorithm to produce an analog data signal for RF transmission.

Featuring a wide tuning range of 76 MHz, with tuning steps in increments of 100 kHz or 25 kHz for up to 3072 frequencies, the HMa transmitter also covers three standard 25.6 MHz Lectrosonics frequency blocks. Each block provides 256 different pilot tone frequencies.

Heroes and Cowards

The Cinema Sound Production Studio has done a set of works for a new film by German director Harald Franklin, Heroes and Cowards.

The director has involved Ukrainian actors for the most of the roles in his film, something that’s been gradually becoming more and more frequent, since it is considered that Ukraine traditionally has a good school of acting.

Heroes and Cowards is an action films that focuses on the subject of international terrorism. Harald Franklin, in his own specific manner, presents his view on this evil, which is widespread throughout the world.

What will the heroes do when their close people find themselves on the opposite sides of the barricades? Who will act as a coward, and who will retain their moral courage? What can one sacrifice for the person they care about?

Legacy of Lies

The Cinema Sound Production Studio has done a set of works for the joint Ukrainian-British production, a spy thriller Legacy of Lies (voicing and mixing for 5.1 surround sound). The film was directed by Adrian Bol.

The events in the film unfold in Kyiv. An ex-MI6 agent is thrown back by the circumstances into the world of espionage. The kidnapping of his daughter forces him to take up arms in order to get the shocking information about the secret materials of international special services.

The film stars famous Ukrainian and Western actors, such as Scott Adkins, Martin McDougall, Yuliia Sobol, Anna Butkevich, et al.

Anton

The Cinema Sound Production Studio did a set of works for the joint Ukrainian-Georgian production Anton (Sound design, foley recording, post dubbing, and mixing for 5.1 surround sound)

The film is a historical drama, directed by Zaza Urushadze and based on Canadian writer Dale Esler’s autobiography Anton, a young boy, his friend and the Russian Revolution, which describes the turns of events his family went through in 1919.

The events in the film unfold in 1919 in a German colony near Odesa, where the local residents were living a peaceful life until the Bolsheviks came.

The dramatic events are shown to the audience with the help of the main characters, two boys, Anton and Yakov. The ruthlessness and cruelty of the adult world enter the world of the children. What is going to win in the hearts of the children, their childhood friendship or the grim reality?

The Mother of Apostles

The Cinema Sound Production Studio did a set of works for a nationwide production, The Mother of Apostles, directed by Zaza Buadze. (Sound design, foley recording, and mixing for 5.1 surround sound)

The film is a war drama based on real events taking place in eastern Ukraine in 2014. The war is merciless to everyone, basically every character in the film is a victim. The leading heroine, played by actress Natalia Polovynka, is a mother who’s trying to reach the site where a plane with her son on board crushed. She hopes to see him alive, but all she finds is her son’s grave.

This picture is a hymn and reverence to all the mothers. It shows a woman who gives life and the war that takes this life away.

Motherhood is everyday heroism which remains unnoticed day by day. Every mother invests so much love and energy to raise her child that losing her child is a terrible pain that totally devastates her. No war can be justified, because a war is a tragedy and pain for our mothers.
